Students not admitted to the Early Childhood Education program must submit a Program/Prerequisite waiver to take ANY ECE course. If a student has taken an ECE course in a previous semester, they must submit a new waiver for any and all future courses if they have not been admitted into the ECE program. The Program Chair will review your request.
Important notes:
- Waivers will be reviewed and approved ONLY after all students within the ECE program have had the opportunity to register.
- We will not consider waiver requests for courses that are restricted to “dual credit” students.
- On the timetables, you will see a note similar to the following: Registration is restricted to Chilliwack and Fraser Cascades Dual Credit students.
- The ECE program is offered at the Chilliwack campus, and the Mission campus. Note which campus you have requested a waiver for.
