Nominate someone deserving

The University of the Fraser Valley Faculty Service Excellence Award is presented annually to a UFV faculty member for recognition of their academic excellence in service. Emphasis will be placed on their collaboration across boundaries, contribution to UFV's mandate, and impact. Award recipients will receive a personalized plaque, a framed certificate, and an award of $2,500.00, to be presented at a specially-designated award ceremony.

 

Who is eligible to be a nominee?

UFV 'B' faculty, including lab instructors, who have completed their probationary period, or sessional instructors with a cumulative equivalent of two years of teaching time at UFV (14 sections).

 

Who can make a nomination?

UFV 'B' faculty, inluding lab instructors, who have completed their probationary period, or sessional instructors, with a cumulative equivalent of two years of teaching at UFV (14 sections); staff, students enrolled in one course, alumni, University officers.

 

How can I nominate?

Step 1 - Review the Faculty Service Excellence Award Nomination Package

Review the nominee and nominator eligibility criteria for the UFV Faculty Service Excellence Award.

Obtain a consent form signed by the nominee.

Step 2 - Prepare the nomination package

Detailed document and format requirements are outlined in the Faculty Service Excellence Award nomination package.

Step 3 - Submit your nomination before the deadline

Submit the nomination package electronically to the Secretariat office, at UFVSecretariat@ufv.ca by February 1, 2019.
