Nominate someone deserving!

The UFV Teaching Excellence Award is presented annually to recognize and celebrate faculty excellence in teaching at UFV. Award recipients will receive a personalized plaque, a framed certificate, and a $2,500.00 award, to be presented at a specially-designated award ceremony.

 

Who is eligible to be a nominee?

UFV 'B' faculty including lab instructors who have completed their probationary period, or sessional faculty with a cumulative equivalent of two years of teaching time (14 sections).

UFV 'B' faculty including lab instructors who have completed their probationary period, or sessional faculty with an equivalent of two years of teaching (14 sections), students, alumni, staff, or university officers.

 

How can I nominate?

Step 1 - Review the 2019 Nomination Package

Review the nominee and nominator eligibility criteria for the UFV Teaching Excellence Award.

Obtain a consent form signed by the nominee, agreeing to be nominated.

Step 2 - Prepare the nomination package

Detailed document and format requirements are outlined in the Teaching Excellence Award nomination package.

Step 3 - Submit the nomination before the deadline

Submit the nomination package electronically to the Secretariat office, at UFVSecretariat@ufv.ca, by February 1, 2019.
