  • Location: S1111 on the Abbotsford Campus
  • Hours: Monday - Friday | 9 am-4 pm  

Please note that Lounge and Kitchen opening hours are subject to change without notice depending on event schedules and staff availability.

Student Lounge facilities

The student lounge is a drop-in social space for students to talk, study, or play games. Facilities in this space include:

  • Tables and chairs
  • Couches
  • Display screen
  • Board games

Student Kitchen facilities

The student kitchen is a common shared space for students to store or prepare simple food items. Facilities in this space include:

  • Microwaves
  • Refrigerator
  • Kettle
  • Toaster
  • Hot & cold sink

Please note this is a shared space with the Indigenous Student Centre, and any items labelled ISC, or facilities on the right-hand side of the kitchen are not available for common usage.

The Student Experience office is not responsible for personal food or items stored in the common refrigerator. Items left in the refrigerator are removed and disposed of appropriately on Friday every week.

Students who use this space are responsible for cleaning up after themselves each time they use the kitchen area. This includes wiping down counters and microwaves.

Book the Student Lounge or Kitchen

UFV departments or student organizations may be able to:

  • book the lounge space depending on availability
  • request temporary use of the oven, or to access event supplies such as plates, bowls, cutlery and other food preparation materials
