Credit restriction appeal

Increase your credit restriction

If you are on academic warning or academic probation and need permission to increase your 10-credit registration restriction, you may request this by doing the following:

Meet with a program advisor

If you believe you have good reasons to increase your 10-credit registration maximum, schedule a meeting with a program advisor to come up with a plan for how you will be successful with a heavier course load. Your advisor will want to know the number of credits you are requesting and why an increase to the credit maximum is academically in your best interest. Your advisor is able to request an adjustment to your credit maximum on your behalf by sending an email to reginfo@ufv.ca and cc AcademicWarning@ufv.ca.

Requests for a change to the 10-credit registration maximum are only applicable to your next semester and will need to be re-submitted each semester.
