We are excited to announce a new support at UFV: RBC On Campus.
RBC On Campus is an educational centre for students and is staffed by a team of advisors providing free one-on-one advice, seminars, and workshops on topics ranging from student finances, financial literacy, and financial planning to career advice and wellness promotion. You may have already encountered the RBC On Campus team at New Student Orientation, at one of the student fairs, at events on campus, or at their kiosk. Some common questions are answered in the Q&A below:
Do I have to be an RBC client to use this service?
No. You do not have to be an RBC client to speak with RBC On Campus advisors.
What can RBC advisors help me with?
RBC On Campus focuses on financial and career education, but they can also answer questions about RBC banking services, such as bank accounts, and help you get what you need.
Is RBC related to Financial Aid at UFV?
No. RBC On Campus does not replace UFV’s Financial Aids and Awards office. Once you’ve secured a student loan or a scholarship, though, RBC On Campus can help you with budgeting, paying off debt, and saving for school and other things.
Where can I find RBC advisors at UFV?
You’ll find the RBC On-Campus Advisors on the Abbotsford Campus in 'B' Building, in the hallway across from UFV International's Global Lounge (B223). They are available Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
