How to request shipping services
For outbound shipments from campus to an external (Canadian or U.S. / International) destination, you must submit a shipping requisition.
Your shipping requisition ticket number must be written on your package.
Shipping charges are billed back to the sender’s budget code annotated on the shipping requisition.
Cut-off time for shipments
Cut-off times for shipments are determined by the domestic or international designation and will need to be at Logistics Services in Abbotsford B110 by the following times:
- Same-day service in the lower mainland: 9:00 am
- Domestic ground/air service: 11:30 am
- International standard/premium: 11:30 am
Dangerous Goods
- Dangerous goods require extra time to process due to shipping rules and guidelines
- Controlled hazardous materials require proper packaging, labelling, and documentation
- Logistics does not have a supply of hazard labels or placards. If possible, please bring the material to be shipped in the original container in which it was received. Logistics will generate the necessary "Transportation of Dangerous Goods" documentation.
