Project overview
This study aims to develop a plan that empowers UFV to take concrete actions toward reducing energy and emissions while improving climate resilience in its corporate buildings. This will be done by laying out a realistic and attainable pathway and demonstrating the benefits of implementation over time.
Project features
Phase 1: Energy and Emissions Audits & Opportunities Register:
- Assessing the current situation in terms of energy and emissions
- Establishing energy and emissions targets
Completing site audits to identify energy and emissions opportunities and climate hazard vulnerabilities
Phase 2: Climate Resilience Assessments:
- Assessing the climate hazards UFV is projected to experience in the future.
- Completing either a detailed climate risk assessment or a climate vulnerability exposure screening exercise.
Phase 3: Energy and Climate Resilience Pathways Planning:'
- Stakeholder engagement sessions
- Energy and climate resilience pathways modelling
- Implementation planning
