Sustainable UFV
There are currently 321 solar panels generating electricity at UFV, which were installed in 2021. These panels are located on the roof of the Peter Jones Learning Commons (Building G) on the Abbotsford Campus, which houses the Library and Academic Success Centre. These panels have been producing around 130MWh of electricity per year, which is roughly the same amount of electricity needed to power 12 Canadian homes!
