One of the biggest ways that you can reduce your carbon footprint and lower your impact on the environment is by choosing sustainable transportation. Options can include walking, cycling, carpooling, driving electric, and taking public transit.
UFV initiatives aim at helping to make sustainable options easier, and more affordable.
See UFV's Transportation Demand Management Report.
Bike Infrastructure
Biking provides a healthy and sustainable option for getting to campus.
When you arrive on campus, you can lock your bike in once of the bicycle lockers on campus. The lockers help provide additional protection and keep your bike out of the rain. A map of locker locations and the rental form can be found here.
Find you need a tune up while on the Abbotsford Campus? Check out the repair station that has a suite of tools that bicyclists can use.
To help get you farther, try out the bike racks on the city buses and the UFV Campus shuttle.
