Berry Production essentials certificate

Secure essential knowledge to begin a career in berry production with the Berry Production essentials certificate. This certificate program ladders into the Horticulture Crop Production and Protection certificate.

This program is offered in the fall semester, odd years only.

Current Agricultural Practices essentials certificate

Earn a post-credential certificate with the Current Agricultural Practices essentials certificate that will help you meet the professional development needs of agriculturists.

Field Vegetable Production essentials certificate

Equip yourself with practical and theoretical training to prepare you for a career in field vegetable production. This certificate program ladders into the Horticulture Crop Production and Protection certificate.

This program is offered in the fall semester, even years only.

1-year certificate programs

Horticulture Crop Production and Protection certificate

Expand your knowledge and skills with practical, hands-on activities in the Agriculture Technology department greenhouses. The Horticulture Crop Production and Protection certificate qualifies you for work as an assistant in field crop production and in government positions. You may also become a technician in a greenhouse, nursery, garden centre, landscape company or grounds maintenance company.

Livestock Production certificate

Gain essential know-how and skills to manage operations in animal husbandry where you will manage operations on dairy, beef, sheep, goats, poultry, equine, or hog farms or to launch a career off-farm in agribusiness management, sales, marketing, or research.

2-year diploma program

Agriculture Technology diploma
