PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Gain the essential skills you need to enter the field of information technology. UFV's Computer Information Systems (CIS) certificate is a two-semester program. It will give you the knowledge and skills to support small companies that rely on single-user systems.

Your courses will emphasize practical learning. You'll apply the theories you're learning through hands-on projects in UFV's well-equipped labs.

You'll have the flexibility to choose courses based on your interests. This will prepare you to work in different areas, depending on your choices. You could focus on web support, user technical support, or computer support, for example.
