In August of 2022 Xwexwílmexwawt had a Naming Ceremony for B309, naming the space Sthe’thíawt
Though not a direct translation, the nearest English meaning for Sthe’thíawt is ‘The Nest.' This name was chosen for the space for Indigenous Staff and Faculty to have a place on campus to use, building the community within the University.
