The Encyclopedia of Canadian Adult Education is
an open-content project that features articles, theses and resources
relating to the development of adult education in Canada.
As you
explore the site you will see that it is a work-in-progress. We invite
you to Contribute
articles for inclusion. We welcome your suggestions. We want this site
to be useful for scholars and students alike.
Navigating
the Site
In the Theses section you will find a
pre-selected collection of theses specifically pertaining to Canadian
adult education from the Library and Archives of Collections Canada.
Some are available in full-text while others may be available through
inter-library loans.
The Index section
provides
articles about significant institutions and people in Canadian adult
education. At the end of each article you will find references and
links for further research.
Check
out the timeline in the Resources
section. It outlines significant events in the history of Canadian
adult education beginning in the 1600s.
