UFV CERA has partnered with Cycling Without Age - Yarrow to provide older adults in our community an innovative opportunity to enjoy the outdoors March to August. UFV Trishaw Rides is based on the CEP campus with ready access to Vedder Rotary Trail. The program is free-of-charge and designed to allow older adults with mobility challenges the ability to experience nature and build intergenerational relationships.
Join UFV Trishaw Rides as a pilot! All pilots will receive bike training. The bike is electric-assist but takes some getting used to. Additionally, CERA Director, Dr. Shelley Canning, will host a workshop on working with older adults living with dementia.
If you're interested in building intergenerational relationships, getting active, and helping older adults enjoy the outdoors, sign up to start making a difference.
We've ridden off into the sunset - please check back in Spring 2026!
