Annette Moore teaches Agri 212, Introduction to On-Farm Food Safety, Quality and Security.
Annette received her M.Sc. in Animal Science with a focus in animal nutrition from the University of Guelph and her B.Sc. (Agri) from UBC (University of British Columbia).
Annette has almost 20 years experience working as a livestock extensionist both within the BC and Ontario governments. In the last 15 years through her company, she has worked with a number of agri-industry groups (both livestock and horticulture), helping them to develop and grow their On-Farm Food Safety programs. As a 28-year veteran instructor at UFV, she enjoys sharing those experiences with the students.
"I went into the Agriculture Technology Diploma not knowing where I wanted to end up in the agriculture industry. UFV's courses on production animal nutrition and health sparked an interest in the feed industry for me."
