Tristin holds a Master's in Plant Science and a Master's in International Development from Wageningen University in the Netherlands. He is also a graduate of the University of Guelph’s Agriculture program in Ontario.
His industry experience includes farm and crop management, agricultural advocacy, agribusiness development and consulting in the Canadian vegetable industry. He also has experience researching farming systems in Africa. This included critically evaluating sustainable agriculture development programs and documenting a new, unintended driver of hunger and inequality in Malawi.
Tristin’s interests are in sustainable food production, food security and agricultural development.
He hopes to inspire students to develop successful careers and businesses in agriculture.
