Avner Bachar is a professional engineer who thinks past the status quo to find new ways to solve problems with technology. His broad range of hands-on skills are a beneficial complement to his engineering background, enabling his ideas to emerge as practical solutions. He has worked directly with industry problems and brought students to the table on an extra-curricular basis. He led the development of a new instrumentation system for gathering and data logging light exterior-light levels in real-time and interpreting the data to unique ways that lead to improvements in efficiency, safety, and managing plant locations.
