Through its Social, Cultural, and Media Studies (SCMS) department, UFV offers a minor in anthropology as well as a combined major in sociology/anthropology as part of its Bachelor of Arts program. Students cannot combine an anthropology minor with the sociology/anthropology major. However, a minor in anthropology can be combined with a major in sociology alone. Extended studies in arts certificates will allow graduates with a bachelor's degree from a recognized university to complete further work to meet the requirements of majors, extended minors, and minors offered by the Department of Social, Cultural and Media Studies.
