In 1995, Sean received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Simon Fraser University. One year later, Sean earned an MA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.

Sean went on to be an ABD PhD candidate at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and he specializes in labour economics and econometrics.
