- Canadian Mental Health Association
- For students whose education and career goals are related to mental health promotion ($1000-2000)
- CSA Group Graduate Scholarship
- Support graduate students in the pursuit of novel research related to standards ($10,000/year for 2 years)
- Elizabeth Henry Scholarship for Communities and Environmental Health
- Supports graduate students working on research projects in partnership with BC communities that are addressing environmental issues and/or promoting environmental sustainability ($4000)
- Foreign Government Awards Program - Korea
- The Government of Korea through the National Institute for International Education Development offers scholarships to Canadians for study/research at the graduate level
- Friedman Award for Health Scholars in Health
- For UBC students graduate students or medical residents working in the broad area of health (max $50,000)
- Fulbright Canada Student Awards
- For Canadian citizens who are graduate students, prospective graduate students, or promising young professionals who wish to study and/or conduct research in the United States
- Google Lime Scholarship
- Provides funding and networking retreats for computer science students with disabilities
- Harbhajan Ranauta Legacy Scholarship
- For a graduate student pursuing studies relating to the advancement of accessible Mental Health and/or Addiction support services ($1,500)
- HSA Scholarships and Bursaries
- HSA members and their families are eligible to apply for a number of educational scholarships and bursaries ($2,000)
- International Scholarships for Canadians
- Study and conduct research abroad (various amounts)

- Scholarships to study in Canada
- Mackenzie King Scholarship
- Two classes of Mackenzie King Scholarship are available to graduates of Canadian universities: the Open Scholarship and the Travelling Scholarship. Both are to support graduate study ($12,000)
- MCC Canadian Japanese-Mennonite Scholarship
- To assist the protection of minority and human rights in Canada, and reduce the potential for abuse of cultural minorities such as that suffered by Japanese Canadians during World War II.
- McCall MacBain Scholarship
- Canada’s first comprehensive, leadership-based scholarships for master’s and professional studies (fully funded)
- Mensa Canada Scholarship Programme
- Write a short essay in which they detail their career plan, list their accomplishments to date, and describe what they plan to in do order to achieve their future career goals ($1,000)
- Novus Biologicals Scholarship Program
- For students pursuing education in a science related field (Life Science, Medical Science, Health Science). Awarded twice each year in the Fall & Spring semesters ($1,500).
- Opterus Helen Rose STEM Award
- For women between the ages of 18-26 pursuing an education in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) at an accredited Canadian university or college ($10,000)
- Opterus Valerie Ann Arts Award
- For women between the ages of 18-26 pursuing an education in Arts at an accredited Canadian university or college ($10,000)
- PEO International Peace Scholarship
- The International Peace Scholarship Fund is a program which provides scholarships for selected women from other countries for graduate study in the United States and Canada (Up to $12,500)
- Research Impact Canada Engaged Scholarship Award for Graduate Students
- Recognizes engaged scholarship (making research with the people who benefit from it), co-creation of knowledge or integrated knowledge translation efforts among graduate students of RIC's Canadian member institutions, regardless of their discipline ($2,000)
- Rhodes Scholarship
- The oldest (established 1903) international scholarship programme in the world, and one of the most prestigious. Administered by the Rhodes Trust in Oxford, the programme offers 100 fully-funded Scholarships each year for postgraduate study at the University of Oxford (fully funded)
- Royal Canadian Legion Masters Scholarship
- Master’s level student specializing in research related to Veterans and their families (Multiple awards- amount varies $10,000-18,000)
- Sarah Gaulin Memorial Scholarship
- Applicants must have an ongoing mental health condition for a minimum of two years ($1,000)
- Senior Women Academic Administrators of Canada
- Women graduate students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in the university or general community while maintaining exemplary academic records ($4,000)
- Soroptimist Foundation of Canada
- For female graduate students in Canada ($8,500)
- Strategic Master's Award
- For students in an eligible master's program in Canada that is relevant to CIHR priority research areas ($17,500)
- Tanaka Fund Grant
- Support Junior Japanese Studies Scholars ($10,000)
- The Hugh Morris Fellowship
- Supports a graduate student at a Canadian University to undertake a program of self-guided travel and experiential learning in order to explore one of our priority areas of interest (max $40,000)
- Tyler Lewis Clean Energy Research Foundation Grant
- The Tyler Lewis Clean Energy Research Grant was established to provide financial support and promote graduate student research in the field of clean energy at Canadian Universities ($10,000)
- United Nations Youth Global Citizen Prize
- Submit a 800 word essay, a poem, a piece of art, a song, a dance (video) or other format of choice relating to topic ($2,000)
- Zoeken Scholarship
- Write a short essay detailing how you came over a particular adversity in your life ($500)
Indigenous Student Scholarships
- BC Scholarship Society- Indigenous Student Awards
- Students pursuing trades training, apprenticeship, diploma, certificates, degree or post-degree programs ($10,00-$15000, renewable annually)
- Building Brighter Futures: Bursaries and Scholarships
- For full and part time studies in college, university, skilled trades, apprenticeships, and technology programs
- New Relationship Trust Foundation
- For First Nations (status or non-status) member of a British Columbia First Nation community attending post secondary (amount varies)
- Post-Secondary Student Support Program (PSSSP)
- Provides eligible First Nations students with funding to access education opportunities at the post-secondary level
- 2023 Master’s Personnel Awards for Indigenous Scholars
