Territory acknowledgment
The Indigenous Studies department is situated on Stó:lō Téméxw, the traditional and ancestral territory of the Stó:lō peoples that they have stewarded since time began. We express our gratitude and respect for the honour of serving, studying, working, and living on these beautiful lands.
Ey Swáyel, ey kw'ás xwe'í! It's good that you're here!
The Indigenous Studies department is a community of learners that aims to promote understanding, respect, and appreciation for Indigenous knowledge. As part of the School of Social Justice and Global Stewardship (SoJust), we have dedicated faculty and a variety of resources to offer you transformative learning experiences as we embark on a journey of discovery together. Our space is inclusive, welcoming diverse perspectives to celebrate the richness of Indigenous cultures. So feel at home and join us in this exciting adventure!
