Step-by-step How to access the content history
If you are on a section's content tab, choose the content block of interest and click its blue actions menu, then select history.
If you are currently editing a content block, you can access its history by selecting the history tab at the top of the screen.
The version history table shows you:
- The content block names and version numbers
- The content owner if one is specified
- The date and time each version was modified
- The web editor who made the modifications
To see how a specific version of a content block looked, click its blue actions menu, then select preview.
How to access the content history
- From the version history screen, select two content blocks you want to compare using the blue checkboxes to the right of the table. Selecting two checkboxes will activate the blue compare selected button.
- Click the compare selected button to see the two content blocks side-by-side.
How to restore a previous version
You can restore an earlier version of a content block from the content history screen.
- Select the version you want to restore and click its blue action menu, then select make current.
- Be sure to click save and approve to finalize your changes to the content block.
