Step-by-step

How to mirror a content block

When you mirror, you are creating a linked copy if it. Any update you make will show in the original content and the mirrored content.

To mirror a content block:

  1. Find the content block that you would like to mirror.
  1. Click on the blue Actions drop-down button and select Mirror.
  1. Choose a destination for your mirrored content.

A mirrored content block will have two linked boxes beside its name . If you hover over it, you'll see a message that indicates where the content appears.

IMPORTANT: Be careful about deleting mirrored content

If you want to delete a mirrored content block, T4 will ask you whether you want to remove the content block just from this section, or delete it completely. If you choose to delete the content, it will be deleted everywhere.

How to duplicate a content block

Duplicating a content block lets you make a fresh copy of a content block that isn't linked to the original.

  1. Find the content block that you would like to duplicate.
  1. Click on the blue Actions drop-down button and select Duplicate.
  1. Choose a destination for your duplicated content.
  1. Go to the section where you chose to place your duplicated content block. You'll notice that your duplicated content block is in pending mode.
  1. Open your newly duplicated content block, make your edits and save your changes. The original content will not be affected.
