Biography

Renette Aubin Boisclair is an Associate Professor in the BSN Program at the University of the Fraser Valley.  Renette obtained her BScN (With Distinction) at the University of Alberta and her Masters in Nursing at the University of Southern Queensland in Australia. Her nursing background includes psychiatry, pediatrics, NICU, and gerontology.  She has been a faculty member at UFV since 2008 and prior to that she held a faculty position in the BScN program at Grande Prairie College. Renette has been involved in a variety of departmental and institutional committees. She is currently the faculty advisor for the BCCNP Student Group and the CNSA. Renette also serves as the Health Science Representative on the Faculty of Access & Continuing Education Faculty Council, co-chair of the BSN Research Committee and is a member of the Global Health Initiatives Committee.

Renette is passionate about supporting novice student learners and helping them to achieve their full potential. She also has a special interest in global health nursing, leadership, and student mentorship.
