Jacquie is beginning her journey as an Assistant Professor in the BSN Program in August 2024. She is currently working on her Master’s in Nursing Education at UVic and is halfway through this program. In fall 2024, Jacquie will begin working on her thesis which will focus on creation of a bridge between oncology research, education, and practice. Jacquie has been an oncology nurse for her entire career. She is very passionate about improving care for cancer patients and has recently become involved in CANO to help advocate for basic cancer care principles to be included in undergraduate nursing programs.

Master’s in Nursing Education from the University of Victoria (graduating in August 2025).

BCCA Chemotherapy Certification (completed in March 2022).
