Project process

Review the stages of the project process, from intake to outcome.

Intake

Requestor submits a project request.

 

Assessment

IT Executive Leadership team reviews the request and analyzes the project scope and size.

 
 

If more information is required

 

Exploration

The requestor and a business analyst will meet to gather and analyze data to explore the project value and draft an initial proposal.

 

Approval

The project is elevated to the Governance sub-committees for approval.

 

Prioritization

The project is added to our project pipeline and resources are assigned.

 

Planning

Project team develops a comprehensive project plan, accounting for the scope, schedule, budget, and any risks.

 

Implementation

The project plan is implemented and work begins in order to achieve the desired project outcomes.

 

Tracking & adjustments

The project status is continually monitored by tracking milestones and correcting the course of the project as needed.

 

Transition

Once the project has reached the desired outcomes, the project will be finalized and closed. Any lessons learned will be documented as well as any benefits realized as the project transitions to the responsible party.
