Pat Tracey was the driving force behind the Fraser Valley Regional Science Fair for over 30 years. Her Science Fair journey began at Bakerview School, Abbotsford. In the early 1990’s she transferred to the Abbotsford School District office as a Science/Math Helping Teacher where she ultimately retired. She continued to volunteer her time until handing over the reins in 2017.
Pat sadly passed away in 2019 at the age of 82. Her leadership, wisdom, and friendship has left a significant impression on our organization, so it seemed only fitting to honour her memory by establishing the Pat Tracey Innovation Award in 2020.
