UFV is committed to providing support and options to members of our community who have experienced sexualized violence. We encourage you to access the many support programs available both on and off campus. You are not alone. We are here to help.
Below is a list of some of the options available to you:

VictimLinkBC is a toll-free, confidential, multilingual telephone service available 24/7. It provides information and referral services to all victims of crime and immediate crisis support to victims of family and sexualized violence.

The purpose of Victim Services is to lessen the trauma associated with being the victim of crime or trauma, and to try to prevent re-victimization. Empowerment of the individual through emotional support, information, practical assistance and appropriate referrals is the cornerstone of the program's effectiveness. As much as possible clients are encouraged to exercise choice as they proceed through the Criminal Justice System and to determine the source and degree of assistance they wish to receive.
