Plans

In 2023 we began the steps to develop an Energy and Climate Resiliency Plan.

This Plan involves:

  • An extensive review of UFV's infrastructure and campuses
  • The establishment of energy and climate goals, and
  • Identifying priority actions that can be taken to reach energy and climate goals.

The result will be a reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and an increased resilience to extreme weather events caused by climate change.

UFV policies

The UFV Sustainability policy establishes sustainability as a priority for the university. The policy provides UFV’s common understanding for what sustainability means. It is a framework for integrating sustainability into decision-making, university practices, initiatives, and education.
