Leadership

As VP Administration, Jackie is responsible for and provides leadership to the university’s administrative support services. The portfolio includes information technology services, safety and security, campus planning, facilities management, and human resources. She also serves as a director on the board of UFV’s related entities - the UFV Properties Trust, University India Global Education (UIGE), and the UFV Foundation.

As an administrator and leader, Jackie places value on collaboration, inclusivity, and relationships, and is known for being organized and approachable. Jackie works with a dedicated and professional team of directors and staff; the division strives to be a strategic partner to units across the university ensuring administrative services align with the mission and strategic plans of the university. 

Jackie is involved in the post-secondary sector at the provincial level and serves as the chair of the BCAIU finance committee, member of the Administrative Services Collaborative (ASC) steering committee, the Student Housing Working Group and has previously served on the board of the Post Secondary Employers Association (PSEA). She is also actively engaged in her community and currently serves as Treasurer on the board of the Abbotsford Community Foundation.  

Jackie lives in Abbotsford with her husband, Paul, and enjoys spending her free time hiking, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family.
