UFV offers Adult Basic Education
(ABE) courses, also know as Adult Upgrading, to help adults upgrade basic
literacy and numeracy skills, complete high school to earn the
B.C. Adult Graduation Diploma (Adult Dogwood),
prepare for the General Educational Development (GED)
high school equivalency test, meet employment requirements, or complete
prerequisite courses for post-secondary programs.
UFV also offers a Training in Attitudes, Skills and
Knowledge for the Workplace (Workplace TASK) program for students with
disabilities, and a Literacy Tutor certificate
program.
