Management Post-degree certificate
The Management Post-degree certificate (MPC) is a one-year, eight-course, 27 credit post-degree program that will provide students coming from a non-business background with the opportunity to study management. It will enhance students’ knowledge of business, position them for graduate work, and award them a business credential in international business and global management.
Students will complete a total of eight (8) academic courses (27 credits). These include a core set of three management courses (9 credits); a set of three courses (9 credits) in international business and innovation; and, two research and applied project courses (9 credits), which will be work/internship-focused.
Entrance requirements
Applicants must have a degree from a recognized institution. Course prerequisites will be waived given the incoming student’s academic and/or professional background.
Applicants must satisfy the English language proficiency requirement. For details on how this requirement may be met, see English language proficiency requirement in the Admissions section of the calendar.
When to apply
Applications are accepted for entrance to the Fall and Winter semesters. Admission will be by application date. Applicants who meet the entrance requirements will be admitted in order of their application date. For application deadlines see the Office of the Registrar web page.

- Official transcripts of all previous university work and proof of obtaining a bachelor degree.
- Student statement of intent. Describe how this program will help you obtain your career and/or academic goals.
Basis of admission decision
Applicants will be advised of an admission decision and provided with registration information. All admission decisions are made by the School of Business.

Continuance
To continue in the program students must maintain a minimum of C+ in each course. Students will be able to repeat two courses that are below C+.
Residency
A minimum of five courses must be taken at UFV. Students will be able to transfer into the program up to three of the MPC courses (nine credits) with a grade of at least C+, taken at UFV within the past five years.
Graduation Requirements
The certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of all required courses with a minimum C+ in each course.
