Veterinary Administrative Assistant certificate
This part-time, 660-hour program consists of nine modules and will prepare you to work in a veterinary hospital where you will be working with animals and people on a daily basis. You will learn how to be an integral part of a small animal hospital as a Veterinary Administrative Assistant. As a qualified front line assistant, you will be learning how to be a top notch receptionist with above average people skills and will be capable of running the front desk, including answering the phones and booking appointments. You will also be learning some of the skills to assist with the animals that come in for care, whether they are injured, sick, or aggressive. You will learn how to become the
face and voice of a veterinary hospital or clinic.

There is no application process for this program. Students may choose to register in either the full-time or part-time delivery option.

Location
Courses will be offered at the Chilliwack campus (Canada Education Park) and the Abbotsford campus Clearbrook centre.

Graduation Requirements
Students must achieve a grade of 75% in each course to be eligible for the practicum and to receive their certificate.
Maximum length of time to complete program
All course requirements must be met within three years.
