Congratulations Class of 2017/18!

You are invited to celebrate your achievements at UFV's convocation ceremonies on Tues, June 5 and Wed, June 6. 

Grads will receive a graduation information package in the mail in early May with detailed instructions.

Tues, June 5 at 2:30 pm — College of Arts
Wed, June 6 at 9:30 am — Faculty of Professional Studies
Wed, June 6 at 2:30 pm — Faculty of Applied & Technical Studies, Faculty of Access & Continuing Education

Please arrive 1 hour before your ceremony. Doors will open for grads and guests 1.5 hours before ceremony start times.

Learn about your Alumni Association

The UFV Alumni Association was established April 1, 2001 and has been growing steadily ever since. Its purpose is to foster lifelong relationships between alumni and UFV through advocacy, support, service, and communication. The association grows by over 2,500 members each year. 

As a graduate, you will automatically become a member of the UFV Alumni Association—a vibrant network of over 36,500 alumni making waves locally and around the world. 

You are invited to stay connected and engaged through the UFV Alumni Association. 

There are many ways you can benefit from your membership, such as getting discounts, building your network, and connecting at exclusive events.

Invite family & friends

Feel free to invite as many friends and family members to your UFV convocation as you wish. The Abbotsford Centre, located at 33800 King Road in Abbotsford, features over 2,500 seats, which are available entirely free of charge on a first-come, first-serve basis for each ceremony.

Flowers and UFV wear will be available for purchase on the concourse if your loved ones would like to mark the occasion with a gift. They can also review gift options and pre-order if they prefer.

Reserve your regalia

Pre-order your gown with Gaspards and benefit from their early bird rate. The site is available for ordering at any time 24 hours a day/7 days a week until May 17. After this deadline, you may still order regalia at the AESC on the day of your ceremony, at full cost. Cap and tassel are included in your rental fee and are yours to keep as a souvenir.
