UFV counsellors offer support for students with personal issues, and can help you meet the challenges of achieving your academic and personal potential.
Individual counselling
Difficult circumstances occur in everyone's life. Sharing your concerns with a supportive and experienced counsellor can be a big relief. Students often seek counselling related to:
- Abuse: sexual, physical, emotional, verbal
- Anxiety and stress
- Depression
- Eating disorders
- Grief and loss
- Loneliness, isolation, and homesickness
- Lack of motivation, perfectionism, and procrastination
- Relationships: families, friends, partners and roommates
- Self-esteem
- Suicide
