Prerequisite: Recommended: Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 6 or higher.
Good skills in reading, writing, and verbal English are required for success in this course.

Be introduced to custodial/housekeeping operations (both theory and practical applications) in cleaning procedures for all surfaces, including chemicals, waste handling, WHMIS, and other safety matters. This course is based on green cleaning practices as outlined by The Canadian Sanitation Supply Association (CSSA) and the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Building Rating System. It is suitable for those seeking to enter the custodial/cleaning industry and working custodians wishing to improve their skills.
