Adrian is thrilled to join the UFV Advising Centre to continue his passion of providing holistic advice and support to students. Adrian has over 10 years of experience in the BC public education sector. He has worked as a Coordinator of Newcomer Settlement Program in Vancouver School Board and has served as the Coordinator of International Student Success at UFV. In both roles, Adrian helped students navigate the BC school system, providing advice and support, developing programs and services, and connecting students to helpful resources. While Adrian’s education and training in Counselling, Career Development and International Advising, has provided him the foundational skills in his work, he believes that he learns most of what he brings to work from the students themselves.

 Adrian moved to Canada from the Philippines in 2009. He loves travelling, learning about different cultures, and trying out food from around the world. He also likes playing badminton and enjoys walking with colleagues.
