Certificate in Extended Studies in Social Work — Child Welfare specialization

The Extended Studies Certificate is designed for students who have a Bachelor in Social Work degree, and wish to complete the equivalent of a Child Welfare specialization.

To be admitted, students must have completed a Bachelor of Social Work from UFV, or equivalent. The School of Social Work and Human Services will interview applicants to assess their particular needs. Admission will be granted on the basis of the school’s ability to meet the student’s needs. The number of applicants accepted to the program may be restricted.
