UFV's Early Childhood Education certificate is
a three-semester program leading to provincial licensing as an early childhood
educator. Students can continue into the Early Childhood Education diploma,
which allows for specialization in special needs or infancy. A part-time
Speech and Language Assistant diploma and
Family Child Care certificate are also available.
At the second- or third-year level, students can ladder
into the Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Youth Care. A
