Through its Social, Cultural, and Media Studies (SCMS) department, UFV offers a combined major in Sociology/Anthropolog, a major in Sociology, and a minor and extended minor in Sociology as part of its Bachelor of Arts program. Students cannot combine a Sociology/Anthropology major with a minor or extended minor in either Sociology or Anthropology.

Extended Studies in Arts certificates are also available, which allow graduates with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university to complete further work to meet the requirements of the Sociology or Sociology/Anthropology major or Sociology minor.
