Art History extended minor
This section specifies the extended minor requirements only. Please refer to the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts section for information on additional requirements. Please check the Bachelor of Arts residency section of the calendar for how many upper-level credits must be completed at UFV in order to graduate with this program.Bachelor of Fine Arts students may pair the Art History extended minor with any other BFA extended minor as listed in the BFA section of the calendar, but not with the Visual Arts major.
Lower-level requirements: 21 credits
• Three credits of 100-level AH
• AH 200
• Either three additional credits of AH, or three credits chosen from: ANTH 111, FD 193, ENG 170, FILM 110, FILM 120, FILM 200, FILM 220, HIST 220, LAS 201, MUSC 150, PHIL 250, PHIL 251, PHIL 252, THEA 201, THEA 202, or any lower-level VA course
• 12 additional credits of 100- and 200-level AH
Upper-level requirements: 16 credits
• 16 credits of 300- and 400-level AH
Art History minor
This section specifies the minor requirements only. Please refer to the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts section for information on additional requirements. Please check the Bachelor of Arts residency section of the calendar for how many upper-level credits must be completed at UFV in order to graduate with this program.Bachelor of Fine Arts students cannot pair the Art History minor with the Visual Arts major.
Lower-level requirements: 12 credits
• Three credits of 100-level AH
• AH 200
• Six additional credits of 100- and 200-level AH
Upper-level requirements: 16 credits
• 16 credits of 300- and 400-level AH
