UFV offers university-level courses in French, German, Halq’eméylem, Japanese,
Mandarin, Punjabi,
Spanish, and Russian.
UFV's Modern Languages Institute offers proficiency certificates in several languages.
Intermediate certificates are offered in French, Halq’eméylem, Japanese,
Mandarin, Russian, and Spanish, and Advanced certificates are offered in French,
Russian, and Spanish. An extended minor and minor in French
are also available.
