UFV Student Emergency Funding
UFV Student Emergency Funds are available to assist students who are experiencing unforeseen financial difficulties that are beyond their control and prevent them from reaching their educational goals.
- Course load: Must be registered in good standing in a minimum of 2 courses
- Frequency: Lifetime maximum of 3 emergency disbursements
What You Need To Do:
- Download and complete the UFV Student Emergency Fund Application
- Submit the completed application and any supporting documentation to financial.aid@ufv.ca
- A Financial Aid & Awards advisor will contact you directly to discuss your application and other options available to you
- If you are approved, a cheque will be disbursed within 3 to 5 working days
Coast Capital Emergency Funding
As part of the partnership with Coast Capital, UFV is establishing a named fund that will provide direct emergency funding to support Red Seal Trades and Technology students experiencing financial difficulties which are impacting their ability to succeed in their program.
This fund is available to UFV students in skilled trades programs (Foundation and Apprenticeship) as well as the Electronics Certificate and the Automation and Robotics diploma, who are experiencing financial difficulties, that prevents them from reaching their educational goals.
What You Need To Do:
- Download and complete the UFV Student Emergency Fund Application
- Submit the completed application and any supporting documentation to financial.aid@ufv.ca
- A Financial Aid & Awards advisor will contact you directly to discuss your application and any other options available to you
- If you are approved, a cheque will be disbursed within 3 to 5 working days
