BC Studies Conference

The Department of History at the University of the Fraser Valley is pleased to host the international, multidisciplinary BC Studies Conference on the theme of 'Ways of Being, Ways of Knowing', virtually May 6-8, 2021.  UFV is located in the ancestral territory of the Stó:lō people and we encourage paper and panel proposals that will help build understanding of Indigenous people and the impacts of settler colonialism, and especially those that can help us travel together on a path to greater Reconciliation

While we are disappointed not to be able to welcome participants to UFV in person, we are excited to connect virtually. The conference will still provide presenters and attendees with opportunities for collaboration and dynamic exchange of ideas.

The session recordings are now available to view
