The Academic Planning and Priorities Committee has the responsibility to advise Senate on the mission, goals, objectives, strategies, and priorities of the university.

The Academic Planning and Priorities Committee has the responsibility to advise Senate on the mission, goals, objectives, strategies, and priorities of the university.
The APPC sees all program suspensions and discontinuances that are applicable through Policy 222. Contact Program Development and Quality Assurance if you are considering suspending or discontinuing a program.
The Expedited Program Approval Process may be requested for a new undergraduate program if it meets the criteria as stated in Policy 21, Regulation #8 (Procedures 21-b). Contact the Program Development and Quality Assurance office for assistance.
The Program Report and Plan is produced in collaboration with the Offices of the Provost and VP, Academic; Program Development and Quality Assurance; and Institutional Research and Integrated Planning. This report provides annual updates on UFV program approvals, reviews, suspensions, discontinuances, reviews, and also an updated FTE report and is approved each year by the Senate and Board of Governors.
