Equivalents to high school graduation from other countries

Please note, all grades will be converted to the BC high school grading scale:

Iran High School Equivalencies

Completion of the following is considered equivalent to BC secondary school graduation:

• Diploma Metevaseth (National High School Diploma) (12 years of education)
• Diploma (High School Diploma) (11 years of education and three years at the senior secondary level)
• Pre-University certificate (12 years of education one additional year after high school diploma)
