Adrea Johnson earned her doctorate in English Literature from the University of Alberta, where she specialized in nineteenth-century women’s religious writing. She also holds an MA in Theological Studies from Regent College and she is the rare books curator at Regent in the John Richard Allison Library. She is co-editor, with Holly Faith Nelson, of Negotiating Faith and Feminism in Late Medieval and Early Modern Women’s Lives and Works (forthcoming). Adrea lives in the Fraser Valley, and she enjoys all bookshops, strong espresso, and reading by the sea.

I am passionate about teaching students writing and reading skills at all levels. Through engaging lectures, in-class discussions, writing workshops, and detailed feedback, I aim to help students strengthen their writing skills and develop confidence in their ideas and abilities.
