Biography

I specialize in British and Irish modernism, contemporary literature, affect studies, and the environmental humanities. I regularly teach C20 and C21 British and Irish literature, modernism, science fiction, climate change and literature, introductory literary courses, and academic writing at UFV.

I obtained my MA and PhD from the University of Victoria. My first introduction to modernist studies was Samuel Beckett's Molloy. Completely intrigued by Beckett's works, I began to look for more modernist novels and soon realized how much I loved reading them.
