Teaching Philosophy

I believe, both from teaching and from my own experience, that success in writing comes not from innate talent but from hard work (on both your own writing, and on that of your peers). I love working with students who are passionate about their craft and ready to sweat a little to push their writing to the next level.

I believe everyone has something valuable to say, we're just looking for the write words with which to say it. Great and lasting writing is built from the syllable up; a music that makes your writing uniquely yours. I love to help new writers find that music in their own work
